Yoga
Due to popular demand following a taster session during our Children’s Mental Health Week, we are delighted to be able to run a free Yoga Club.
Led by Sarah Byrne from our Emotion & Wellbeing Team, yoga is a very beneficial activity for all, especially for children, as it…
- Teaches a child how to take a moment and breathe.
- Promotes mental clarity and helps foster concentration and focus.
- Enhances flexibility and stretches muscles we may not use a lot (or do use a lot!)
- Fosters patience as some postures take time to master
Yoga runs straight after school until 4:00pm – Y5/6 on Wednesdays & Y3/4 on Thursdays.
