As in previous years, we are happy to announce that we are planning to take the Year 4 children to Bewerley Park Outdoor Education Centre near Pateley Bridge as part of our Personal Development offer.
This residential will take place on Wednesday 1st May 2024 - Friday 3rd May 2024
The trip is a great opportunity to get to know one another better during an action-packed visit. The children work together as part of a team developing their confidence and self-esteem. Activities include: low ropes course, canoeing, team-building activities, orienteering, bush craft and a visit to Brimham Rocks. By spending time away from home and family, children also develop independence and personal organisational skills.
We work closely with the highly trained staff at Bewerley Park in order to plan a trip that is tailored to meet the needs of our children. Western staff will be staying at the centre supporting the children. Last year, the Year 4’s who went really enjoyed the experience and learned a lot from it.
