School Uniform

We expect all our children to wear the Western uniform, which is:

• A red sweatshirt or cardigan (Western logo optional)
• White or red polo shirt
• Grey or black trousers, skirts or pinafores
• Grey or black shorts (not sport or cycle shorts) or summer dresses (white and red checks) may be worn in the summer months
• Sensible black shoes (no platforms or high heels)
• No accessories that may be deemed as a health and safety risk (including jewellery, but with the exception of ear studs where these are necessary)

Uniform for Reception Children

Due to the outside nature of the curriculum, children are expected to wear the following uniform:

• Red sweatshirt or cardigan (Western logo optional)
• White or red t-shirt or polo shirt
• Black tracksuit bottoms
• Black shorts may be worn in the summer months
• Outdoor/walking waterproof trainers (not fabric as these are not waterproof so children get cold and wet)
• No accessories that may be deemed a health and safety risk, including jewellery (ear studs are permitted where necessary)

School PE Kit

For PE we expect our children to wear:

• A plain top that corresponds with your child’s House colour (Western logo optional), or a plain white t-shirt
• Plain black tracksuit bottoms, shorts, leggings, skirt or skort
• Plain white socks
• Trainers suitable for physical activity, or black pumps for Indoor PE
• Strictly no jewellery, including watches and ear studs (these should not be brought to school on PE days where possible)
• Thermal base layers, school jumpers and coats are also permissible (and recommended) when appropriate

Additional Guidance

• Thermal base layers, school jumpers, and coats are permissible and recommended in colder weather.
• Children should always bring a waterproof jacket to school.
• Please ensure all uniform is clearly labelled with your child’s name.
