Netball Club is an extra-curricular club run after school for Y5/6 pupils. Everyone is welcome!

As well as practising different skills each week, we play competitively in each session too. Over the years, we have participated in North Yorkshire tournaments as well as 'friendlies' against local schools. It is a wonderful way for the children to practise their defending and attacking skills, which supports the learning they do in PE lessons. In addition to this, it is a fantastic opportunity to learn other life skills such as collaboration, leadership, and being supportive of each other, as well as showing respect, honesty and kindness (our core values).  Finally, it is amazing fun amongst their friends whilst also making new ones.

Here's what a couple of club members have to say:

We really like Netball Club because it is a great way to exercise while still having fun! Being a member of the team, we get to learn all the different passes and positions. Also, we get to play matches whilst rotating all the positions. This means we can understand all of the different places on the court. This is why we love it!
