Y1 Trip to Leeds City Museum

Friday 8th March

08

Mar

On Friday 8th March, the children in Year 1 have the opportunity to take part in a trip to Leeds City Museum.

To consolidate next half-term’s key question, ‘What came before us?’, the children will take part in a workshop at the museum called ‘Animal Antics’. During the workshop, the children will ‘take a walk on the wild side’ in the museum’s Life on Earth Gallery. They will get up close with natural history displays and even animal skulls! We are sure the children will not only consolidate their learning, but enjoy the workshop and museum experience immensely too.

We will open the doors at 8:45 a.m. to register the children and leave promptly at 9:15 a.m. We will return to school for normal pick-up time of 3:20 p.m. Please provide your children with a packed lunch for those who normally have one. Children who normally receive a school dinner will be provided with a packed lunch by school. The children must wear school uniform and sensible shoes.
