About Us
With a child in each key stage, I am deeply committed to Western! I have worked in education for approaching 20 years, and worked on 3 different senior leadership teams across a period of 10 years. I’ve worked in a range of areas, from safeguarding to raising outcomes and teaching and learning.
My greatest passion, however, lies in ensuring we are addressing the teacher recruitment and retention crisis in England, and ensuring that we have student teachers coming through that are both well trained and supported to be the best teachers they can be; not only for our children but for future generations as well. In my current role, I am Head of Mentoring across a range of ITT programmes for a private training provider.
I am looking forward to contributing to Western’s journey in continuing to be outstanding.
