Year 3/4 Flamingo Land Trip

As part of our ‘Rainforest’ topic, we have booked a visit to Flamingo Land. The children will have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the zoo with an experienced zoo educator, finding out about a range of animals and their habitats. Each class will also have the opportunity to take part in a workshop where they will have the opportunity to meet some of the animals and find out about habitat, diet and conservation.

The children will need to arrive at school for 7.45am to enable us to leave promptly, at 8.00am. We will return to school at 4.00pm. Your child will need to wear school uniform, a waterproof coat and suitable footwear for walking. S/he will also require a packed lunch, in a suitable bag. If your child normally has a school lunch, they will be provided with a packed lunch.
